Hi friend, I’m Makayla — the heart behind Porchlight & Prayer Co.

This little shop was born out of a season of motherhood, faith, and dreaming about building something meaningful for my family. As a wife and mama to my sweet little boy, so much of my life revolves around the simple, beautiful moments at home — bedtime prayers, slow mornings, family time, and the kind of love that fills a house and turns it into a home.

Porchlight & Prayer Co. was created to reflect those same feelings. The porchlight has always felt like a symbol of warmth and welcome to me — a light left on so the people you love can always find their way home. I wanted this shop to carry that same spirit: a place rooted in faith, family, and the everyday blessings God gives us.
